Studio trip : Singapore

Laselle college of arts. Especially built for the creative minds. They have an interesting green space in the middle but pity, it is kinda hot, the wind doesn't blew through the courtyard that much. A mistake in the orientation of the building maybe? Or maybe because of the construction site just next to it.

Universal Studio
(YES i went there again)
this time totally PUAS because i rode on Battleship Galactica roller coaster 3 TIMES,
F YEAH \m/ all time favourite, the Blue ride aka CYCLON!
But this time they have 'upgraded' the Red ride aka HUMAN with shoulder safety belt, last time there is only waist safety belt. So there is not much thrill as the previous one. I remembered the last time i rode that, i totally didn't like it because i felt like i can be thrown out of my seat

The Pinnacles @ Duxton, reminds me of Linked Hybrid

Happy new year!

For the 1st time in my life i went out to celebrate New Year sounds so noob like? ahahah I went with Ziela & Aden and later meet up with Adam & Ida at the Curve. Before that the three of us had our dinner at the Sushi King, Ziela's treat! hee thanks babe! ^^

After meeting up with Adam & Ida, we went into the Curve, passing by some school kids that were trying so hard to show off that they can get drunk, screaming and cheering so loudly, heh.. Kids. They look so young, i think around 14-15 years old. Anyway we went into the crowd at the plaza, which was a big mistake. People were spraying at each other with foam and bubbles that we hurriedly went upstairs to the pedestrian bridge and waited there. The moment the clock struck 12, everyone screamed "Happy New Year" and suddenly the plaza has turn into zombie land, all of them attacking each other with their foam spray. It was very fascinating to see ahaha. Then we watched the fireworks that lasted for about 15-20 minutes, they were magnificent and beautiful. Well maybe not internationally, but it was worth it.

After that we sat on the grass just outside the curve, mainly people-watching ahaha. The traffic was very congested too so we just sat there waiting for the time to pass by. By the time the traffic has ease down, we headed back to Shah Alam. It was a wonderful experience =)

Not bored with BB

The weekend i went to Singapore, my grandmother, Mak Ti and family came to KL and stayed at our house for 2 weeks. On the last weekend, mama took us all (except my grandmother since she is not feeling well) to have a 'vacation' in the middle of the KL again ahahaha. Most of the people would say.. Why vacationing in KL? Well sight-seeing in the city especially during the night is not so bad after all~ We stayed at the hotel for 1 night. On the 1st day we went to Timesquare Theme Park and during the night we went for a stroll along the BB road and had our dinner at the Pavilion. For the 1st time i experienced a-full-packed of people at the Pavilion, so many people that it was damn hard to even took a family photo since people keep on passing by in front of the camera. On the last day we all had a good-quality-family time by swimming together at the pool and exercising at the gym. It was worth it =).

Not Bersih 2.0, but Melaka

While others were busy with the Bersih 2.0 thingy, my mum, ira, my aunt, nadia, my grandma and i went to Melaka on the Saturday Morning to attend 'Perbarisan Tamat Latihan' at Pulapol Ayer Hitam. My cousin went there last year and now he is officially a police officer =). Congrats Faiz!

My cousin, Faiz took part in the Pertunjukkan Kawad Kaki Tanpa Perintah, and i don't know which is him, they all look the same hahah. Its a shame that it is not a full video because the great part came a few minutes after i stopped recording. Quite annoyed with the aunties beside me, they keep on pushing and shoving =_=

We couldn't find him at his place, instead he found us! I felt a presence behind me then i slowly turn-around and looked at him, paused for a few seconds and scream "hey you!" while pointing at his face. OMG we couldn't even recognized him! He was so different! He was so jambu and korean-like the last time we saw him. But his moher said she likes him this way, at least looks more like a man haha!

On the way home, i was the driver. Everyone fell asleep that it makes me sulked =(. I want to sleep too! Then we got stucked at Sg Besi toll because of a roadblock for almost one and a half hours! Ugh... what a headache =_=.

A day at the site

Couple of weeks ago i went to the site in Shah Alam with my boss and 2 of my officemates to see the process on how to build concrete footing on site.

Overall view of the site

It was raining earlier that day so rainwater was collected inside the formwork. But the contractor said its OK because by the time the concrete been poured into the formwork, the denser concrete will push the water out of the formwork.

Since it is a flat land and the ground condition is good, no piling is needed. 1st they pour the concrete one 'bucket' at a time and while doing that, a vibrator which looks like a thick hose will be put inside it. This is to ensure that there will be no air trapped inside the concrete so that when it dries, 'honeycomb effect' will not occur. Then after the formwork is full with concrete, all of the workers will move on to the next formwork leaving 1 worker to do the flattening and tidying works of the concrete surface. After that the concrete footing is left to dry.

Well it's not a crime for us to take a picture or two ^^

Nur Kasih + Karaoke

Yayness~~ last Friday, Kak intan once again belanja karaoke at Red Box Pavilion and a movie, Nur Kasih. The movie is OK. It would be better if they didn't make the plot-changes to soon. When we were getting started to feel the emotions then suddenly the plot and setting changes. I have to admit that sometimes i got confused as well because there is so much flashback and in the flashback there are more flashback. So u really have to concentrate. BTW i still don't like Nur with Adam. I want Nur with Aidil =(. It is so not fair to him... huhu.

After the movie ended we head straight to Red Box and sing our hearts out! It was so much fun~~ Thank you so much Kak Intan! ^^

Penang Again! May trip~

All of my friends that were studying are having their semester break now. Since we all didn't spend much time together like before and of course to have some fun we planned a trip to Penang!

We hit the road on Thursday night, 23rd of May and stayed at Penang for 3 nights. There were 4 cars, we gathered at Loq's house 1st before starting the journey approximately around 2am and arrived in Penang around 9am. I rode on Adam's car, i got the backseat all for myself YAYness~~ since its gonna be crampy if there will be another passenger.

So what were the activities??? 1st one, obviously eating. Kerang bakar, sotong bakar, nasi kandar, rojak pasembor, char kuey teow, rojak kangkung+sotong, laksa penang, roti canai banjir, roti bakar telur goyang, sup, tandoori... u name it i have taste it all. Don't ask me where is this place or whether it is yummy or not because i am not a picky eater, i just eat what i got served. But i highly recommend Tandoori Chicken+Nan at Hameediyah (don't know whether this is the correct spelling) TERBAAAIIIKKKKK~~~~. Oh yeah, i still haven't taste the best Char Kuey Teow. They were all tasteless huhu.

Then it is the beach! We went to 2 beaches, the Feringgi Beach and Pantai Panjang. I super like Pantai Panjang! But too bad there was no proper changing room/toilet nearest to our camp area so i didn't join the boys for a dip in the sea. Well all of the girls didn't, hahaaha. The sun oh-la-la so hot and bright! We took lots of pretty pictures, but when we went home, all of us were toasted.

Other than that we just simply visited iconic-tourist destinations like Bukit Bendera, Tokong Ular, Batu Feringgi Night Market and etc. We went to War Museum but our pocket money were running low and the entry fees were kinda high so we just hang around for a couple of minutes and went home. Such a pity though, the museum looks interesting. Loq and Ida keep on saying that if they come to Penang again, the War Museum is a must to visit. On the way home, i hitched on Aden's car with Ziela and hit the road first because we need to stop by at UiTM Perak for our referee forms. On the way back, the others (they arrived in Subang first) ajak lepak but i don't want to because i was so damn tired so Ziela and Aden sent me home.
The after-sunset-sky in Seri Iskandar. Amazing isn't it?

So.. when is the next trip?? =D And am also waiting for my overseas' friends! Shaza! Nabilah!

Color wheel in gloomy-Putrajaya

The main purpose was to see the hot air balloon, but none was in the sky and raindrops started to fall although it was burning hot that time. So we took some pictures, have a little fun with bubbles and went home, vowing to camp 3 days 3 nights on the field for the next Hot Air Balloon fiesta next year.
